Terms of Use

  1. By registering with professorsjournal.com you accept that you will receive electronic-mail from Untopia Limited relating to this game.
  2. Access to the internet may be required, please obtain permission to play and enter from your employer (if you are at work) or an adult (if you are under 18 years of age).
  3. All completed answers received will be entered automatically into the competition.
  4. The winner will be the first eligible person to deliver their final answer by recorded delivery to the competition address. The winner will be notified by electronic-mail within 7 days.
  5. 'Eligible' is defined as someone who has subscribed to the game.
  6. The name of the prize winner will be available on this website fourteen days after the winning entry is received.
  7. Untopia Limited will not publicise any details other than the name of the prize winner without the prior written consent of that person.
  8. While we will enter into correspondence the Judges’ decision is final.
  9. This game of skill is open to all; except employees of Untopia Limited.
  10. Entry is limited to one per person.
  11. Proof of posting is not proof of entry.
  12. All entries and copyrights in them will become the property of Untopia Limited.
  13. An entry will not be eligible if lost, delayed, illegible, defaced or wrong.
  14. Entries submitted by third parties on behalf of entrants, photocopies or other duplicates of entries will not be accepted.
  15. The promoter is Untopia Limited.
  16. The prize is £10,000. There is no alternative prize.
  17. Untopia Limited reserve the right to suspend indefinitely any subscriber at any time if they are found to have broken these terms and conditions, acted in a fashion deemed inappropriate or used brute force techniques to answer puzzles.
  18. Untopia Limited shall not be responsible or liable for any tax, levies and duties applicable in any country and it is a condition of entry that you shall be responsible for your own tax liabilities in respect of entry or prize.
  19. The exercise by Untopia Limited of any discretion contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be final and binding.
  20. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Game subscription is void where prohibited by local law.
